As the Founder and CEO, I am responsible for the overall vision and strategy at Independent Life Brokerage. My job is to help you succeed.
I started my insurance career in 2000 as a Registered Representative and Insurance Agent for AXA Advisors in New Jersey. In 2002, I decided to pursue a unique opportunity and became a Vice President of a then-small brokerage firm in New Jersey. In my seven years there, I grew the firm from $3 million in premium to over $20 million in premium annually. I accomplished this by improving the service we provided producers, streamlining operations, and increasing the number and strength of our carrier relationships. My innovations in developing unique sales ideas to increase production and case size resulted in a reputation for “getting the impossible done,” which led me to found Independent Life Brokerage.
As President of ILB, I am responsible for making sure all of our resources are aligned and our team is focused on our No. 1 goal – your success.
Before joining ILB, from 2006 to 2010 I was a Director in the Life Finance Group in Credit Suisse’s Investment Banking division in New York. I was responsible for working closely with the senior management teams of US-based life insurance carriers, principals at brokerage general agencies and institutional accounts. Our focus was on premium financing programs for high-net-worth clients and life settlements. I began my career in the insurance industry in 2003, where I was a Producing Agent with Northwestern Mutual in New York City. From 1999 to 2003, I was an Account Executive and the Director of Sales at HotJobs.com/Yahoo!.
I am a University of Delaware graduate. I currently hold NASD series 6, 7 and 63 licenses along with a life and health insurance license.
